Blueberry Lime Daiquiri
A purple-blue frozen daiquiri with blueberries, white rum, lime and a hint of basil.
- 5 min prep
- 2 drinks
- Rocks glass
Blueberries give a frozen daiquiri a deep purple color and a gentle, jammy flavor. Lime keeps it lively, and a few basil leaves add a sophisticated herbal note.
Wild frozen blueberries are smaller and more flavorful if you can find them.

Tips for the best texture

- Strain the purée for a perfectly smooth drink.
Try a twist
Swap half the blueberries for frozen peaches for a peach-blueberry cobbler slush.
Blender, frozen drink maker or slush machine?
These amounts are written for a standard countertop blender. In an ice-shaving frozen drink maker, put the ice in the hopper and the liquids and any fruit in the jar, then run a full cycle. In a home slush machine, which freezes the drink itself, leave out the ice, replace it with about 1 cup of cold water or juice, and pour the mixed liquid into the bowl.
