Frozen Long Island Iced Tea
The famous five-spirit party drink, blended into a frozen slush with lemon and cola.
- 5 min prep
- 2 drinks
- Highball
The Long Island Iced Tea doesn't contain any tea, just a mix of five spirits, lemon and a splash of cola that makes it look like iced tea. Frozen, it's dangerously drinkable.
Keep the pours small; this one is strong.

Try a twist
Swap the cola for cranberry juice to make a Long Beach version.
Blender, frozen drink maker or slush machine?
These amounts are written for a standard countertop blender. In an ice-shaving frozen drink maker, put the ice in the hopper and the liquids and any fruit in the jar, then run a full cycle. In a home slush machine, which freezes the drink itself, leave out the ice, replace it with about 1 cup of cold water or juice, and pour the mixed liquid into the bowl.
