Frozen Peach Daiquiri
Soft, summery frozen peach daiquiri: frozen peaches, rum, lime and a hint of vanilla.
- 5 min prep
- 2 drinks
- Coupe or rocks glass
Peach and rum have a natural warmth together, and a drop of vanilla takes this daiquiri into peach-cobbler territory without making it heavy.
It's a great recipe for late-summer peaches; slice, freeze and blend.
Frozen Peach Daiquiri
Ingredients (2 drinks)
- 3 oz white or gold rum
- 1½ oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups frozen peach slices
- 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- Add rum, lime juice, syrup and vanilla to the blender.
- Add the peaches and ice.
- Blend on high until smooth, about 45 seconds.
- Pour and garnish with a peach slice and a sprig of mint.
Garnish: Peach slice and mint
Glass: Coupe or rocks glass
Tips for the best texture
- Gold rum adds a light caramel flavor that suits peaches.
- If using canned peaches, drain them, freeze them, and skip the syrup.
Try a twist
Top with a splash of prosecco in the glass for a peach daiquiri spritz.
Blender, frozen drink maker or slush machine?
These amounts are written for a standard countertop blender. In an ice-shaving frozen drink maker, put the ice in the hopper and the liquids and any fruit in the jar, then run a full cycle. In a home slush machine, which freezes the drink itself, leave out the ice, replace it with about 1 cup of cold water or juice, and pour the mixed liquid into the bowl.
