Watermelon Vodka Slush
Frozen watermelon, vodka, lime and a little mint blended into a light pink summer slush.
- 10 min prep
- 2 drinks
- Mason jar or rocks glass
Watermelon and vodka is about as easy as summer drinks get. Vodka lets the fruit taste exactly like itself, and a bit of lime and mint keeps it crisp.
Freeze the watermelon in cubes the night before and you'll get a thick slush with almost no added ice.

Swap vodka for white rum, or use cucumber vodka for a spa-like version.
Blender, frozen drink maker or slush machine?
These amounts are written for a standard countertop blender. In an ice-shaving frozen drink maker, put the ice in the hopper and the liquids and any fruit in the jar, then run a full cycle. In a home slush machine, which freezes the drink itself, leave out the ice, replace it with about 1 cup of cold water or juice, and pour the mixed liquid into the bowl.
