Frozen Strawberry Mojito
A pink-and-green frozen mojito with white rum, mint, lime and strawberries.
- 5 min prep
- 2 drinks
- Highball
Strawberries make a frozen mojito sweeter, rounder and very pretty. The mint still comes through clearly; it's just joined by a ripe berry flavor.
A splash of soda on top keeps it bright.
Frozen Strawberry Mojito

- 1 oz simple syrup
- 12 fresh mint leaves
- 1½ cups frozen strawberries
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 2 oz club soda, to top
Instructions
- Blend rum, lime, syrup and mint for a few seconds.
- Add strawberries and ice; blend 40 seconds.
- Pour into glasses and top with soda.
- Garnish with mint and a strawberry.
Garnish: Mint and a strawberry

Tips for the best texture
- Mint goes dark if over-blended; add it first and keep blending short.
- Basil works instead of mint for a twist.
Try a twist
Swap strawberries for watermelon or raspberries.
Blender, frozen drink maker or slush machine?
These amounts are written for a standard countertop blender. In an ice-shaving frozen drink maker, put the ice in the hopper and the liquids and any fruit in the jar, then run a full cycle. In a home slush machine, which freezes the drink itself, leave out the ice, replace it with about 1 cup of cold water or juice, and pour the mixed liquid into the bowl.
